Welcome to the world of MANUVIT.

At the beginning, Mr. LEBRE, an inventor who became a company manager, stated in Ouest France newspaper in 1980: I am absolutely against any unnecessary physical expenditure in work and it is always very important to seek ways that will avoid fatigue and unnecessary effort that is detrimental to safety.

A pioneer in the fight against arduous work, Mr LEBRE has filed numerous patents. One of his greatest successes has been the concept of variable geometry, an innovation that earned him the prestigious President of France s Award at the Lépine competition. This concept, illustrated on the front cover of our catalogue, still contributes today to the way we make a difference.

Beyond this spirit of innovation, what makes MANUVIT unique is above all its employees and their expertise. On a daily basis, they perpetuate our excellent industry know-how. A strong supporter of the Made in France

movement, Mr CATTIN, my father, took over the reins in 2004 and thus enabled the company to start a new era in its industrial development. Located in Normandy at La Ferté-Macé (Orne), MANUVIT is still proud to carry the colours of the tricolour flag today.

With innovation and manufacturing in its DNA, MANUVIT is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2020, after forty years devoted to developing handling solutions that meet the challenges of improving working conditions, safety and industrial performance.

Wishing to continue this adventure, I took over from my father at the end of 2014. With my teams and the support of the French environment and energy agency (ADEME), we are now working to consolidate growth in an economic model that is increasingly responsible and respectful of people and the environment.
